On The End is a critically acclaimed independent feature film directed by Ari Selinger and starring Tim Blake Nelson, Mireille Enos, Anna Chlumsky, James Badge Dale, and Lois Smith. To support the film's festival run and theatrical release, I designed and developed its official promotional website—a cinematic digital destination that introduces audiences to the film's story, cast, critical recognition, and release information while reflecting the emotional depth and visual language of the production.
I led the project from concept through launch, directing every aspect of the creative and technical execution. Working closely with the filmmakers and stakeholders, I established the site's visual identity and user experience, translating the film's artistic vision into a refined digital experience that balanced immersive storytelling with strategic marketing objectives. Through thoughtful information architecture and multiple design explorations, the website was crafted to guide visitors naturally through the film's narrative, talent, festival accolades, press coverage, and promotional content.
Once the creative direction was established, I hand-coded the entire front-end experience, building a fully responsive, performance-optimized website that delivered cinematic interactions across desktop and mobile devices. Subtle motion, immersive imagery, interactive galleries, embedded media, and carefully considered transitions worked together to enhance the storytelling without competing with the film itself.
The finished website became the film's primary digital presence—supporting festival promotion, media outreach, and audience discovery while delivering a premium online experience that reflected the craftsmanship and emotional resonance of the feature. By combining thoughtful design with technical precision, the site elevated the film's digital identity and provided a compelling destination for audiences, press, and industry professionals alike.
